Footprints 👣 are a curious thing. They represent hope. They represent a guide. They represent a way. And when more tread the same trail, a path is created. It becomes the obvious route. But it all starts with a set of footprints. It starts with one person deciding to walk into the unknown. 

The first set of footprints that lead the way to success therefore, must be Golden. They must be from a curious mind, a brave heart and a resilient soul. 

I am talking metaphorically. I am talking of those who have left an impact in our society. Allowing us to dream and go after our dreams. One foot after another we followed in their steps. We learnt from their mistakes and forged our way around them. We followed their imprints to success. 

So, we cannot forget to say thank you to these Golden Stars, with the Golden feet.

The Walk of Fame Africa has decided to be the ones to honour these Golden stars.The people who fight for what is right, who tell our stories, who make our continent recognised by the rest of the world, who make great strides in their industries and who inspire the younger generation. We make a point to remember them and set their names in stone, because they are and will become a part of our history.

How do we honour them? Here on Imprints, we tell their story, with their voice, from their perspective. We congratulate them for winning the Walk of Fame Africa Awards and we document this occasion. The Awarding Event; the time when Walk of Fame Africa, on behalf of the public, appreciates these Golden Stars.
